It’s no secret that Fairy Tail manga is ending soon. But with the release of Fairy Tail manga volume 61, the author – Hiro Mashima included an “Afterword” in which he explained his feelings for Fairy Tail nearing it’s end and his plans for what comes after. With this, we know that Manga is slated to end in volume 63. The question most fans are asking is whether the anime will come back and from reports we hear that at the end of Fairy Tail Dragon Cry movie, the final arc of the anime will be teased.
Manga creator Hiro Mashima posted on his Twitter account regarding the future of the Fairy Tail franchise on Wednesday. His post reads, “Even though the original manga is ending, I don’t think Fairy Tail is done just yet. I have a lot of plans, so please look forward to them.”
